PSALM 91:1-2, 9-16
METER:  11 10 11 10 11 10
This is the meter for such hymns as "Be Still, My Soul"

1.  One who dwells in the shel-ter of the Most High,
    Who lives pro-tect-ed by Al-might-y God,
    Will say to God, "My ref-uge and my fort-ress;
    You are my God, in you I'll al-ways trust."
    Be-cause the Lord's your shel-ter and your dwell-ing,
    No e-vil scourge will e'er come near your tent.
2.  God will com-mand his an-gels to watch o'er you,
    They will pro-tect you ev-ery-where you go.
    Upon their hands they al-ways will sup-port you,
    So you won't hurt your feet up-on the stones.
    You'll e-ven tram-ple li-ons fierce and hun-gry,
    Yes, un-der-foot you'll tram-ple pois-onous snakes.
3.  I will de-liv-er ev-ery-one who loves me,
    I will pro-tect all those who know my name.
    When they call me, I will give them my an-swer;
    In trou-ble be with them to res-cue them.
    I'll hon-or them with life that's long and fruit-ful,
    And my sal-va-tion I will show to them.
