1. The Lord reigns; let the peo-ples quake.
He is on cher-u-bim en-throned.
Let earth quake! God is great in Zi'n,
Ex-alt-ed o-ver na-tions all.
Let all the world your maj-es-ty
And great-ness praise. Ho-ly is he!
2. O might-y King, who just-ice loves,
You have es-tab-lished e-qui-ty;
Just-ice and right-eous-ness you've made
In Is-ra-el to come to pass.
Ex-tol the Lord God; wor-ship him
At his foot-stool. Ho-ly is he!
3. Mo-ses and Aa-ron both were priests,
Sam-u-el al-so called on him.
They cried to God, who spoke to them,
An-swer-ing from the pil-lared cloud;
They kept his test-i-mon-ies all,
And the stat-utes that he gave them.
4. O Lord God, you did an-swer them;
You for-gave them, for you are God,
But pun-ished them for all their sins.
Ex-tol the Lord, who is our God;
Wor-ship him at his ho-ly hill,
For ho-ly is the Lord our God!
