This is the meter of the hymn, "The Church's One Foundation"
1. Sing to the Lord a new song,
He has done marv-'lous things!
His right hand and arm ho-ly
Have got-ten vic-to-ry.
The Lord made known his vic-t'ry,
His vin-di-ca-tion known
In the sight of the na-tions
Through-out the whole wide earth.
2. His con-stant, faith-ful love he
To Is-ra-el re-called.
All of the na-tions have seen
The vic-t'ry of our God.
To him make joy-ful nois-es,
With songs of joy and praise.
With harp sing prais-es to him,
With lyre and mel-o-dy.
3. With sound of horns and trum-pets
Re-joice to God, the King!
Let seas roar, and all in them;
The world, and all there-in.
Let o-ceans clap, let hills sing
For joy be-fore the Lord,
Who comes to judge with just-ice
All peo-ples of the earth.
