1. Be-cause God is your ref-uge,
The Most High is your home,
No e-vil shall be-fall you,
No scourge come near your tent.
His an-gels shall watch o'er you,
They'll guard wher-e'er you go,
Up-hold-ing you from fall-ing,
From stum-bling on a stone.
2. You'll walk on snakes and li-ons,
And tread them un-der-foot.
God saves us and pro-tects us,
Be-cause we know his name.
He an-swers when we cry out,
From trou-ble we are saved.
God shows us his sal-va-tion,
Through all our live-long days.
