METER:  77 77 D
This is the same meter as such hymns as "Come, Ye Thankful People, Come" and "Take My Life, and Let It Be"

1.  Fa-vor, Lord, you've shown your land;
    Ja-cob's for-tunes you re-stored.
    You for-gave your peo-ple's sin,
    Par-doned their in-i-qui-ty.
    All your wrath you have with-drawn,
    Turned a-way from burn-ing rage.
    Turn to us, O God our help,
    Don't be an-gry a-ny more.
2.  Will you e'er be vexed at us,
    Will your an-ger nev-er cease?
    Won't you make us strong a-gain,
    So your peo-ple may re-joice.
    Lord, show us your stead-fast love,
    Let us see your faith-ful-ness;
    Grant to us your sav-ing help,
    Lord, de-liv-er us, we pray.
3.  Let me hear what God will say,
    For he speaks peace to his own,
    To the ones he calls his saints,
    Those who turn their hearts to him.
    Let them not be fools again.
    God will save those who fear him.
    Yes, sal-va-tion is at hand,
    And God's glo-ry's in our land.
4.  Love and faith-ful-ness will meet;
    Right-eous-ness and peace em-brace.
    Faith-ful-ness springs from the ground;
    Just-ice will look down from heav'n.
    God will give us what is good,
    Boun-teous har-vests we'll re-ceive.
    Right-eous-ness be-fore him goes
    To pre-pare a path for him.
