1. How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord!
My soul longs to be present in your courts.
With joy I sing to you with heart and flesh,
To you, O living God of pow'r and might.
2. Even the sparrow finds a place to nest
And swallows find a place to lay their young
Near to your altars, Lord, my King and God.
Blest they who dwell in your house, singing praise.
3. Blessed are they whose strength is found in you,
Your pilgrim people trav'ling to your house.
They make the wasteland burst with springs and rain.
They grow in strength as they see God in Zi'n.
