1. O clap your hands, you peo-ples all!
With joy-ful songs shout to our God!
The might-y God is to be feared,
A sov-ereign great o'er all the earth.
O'er peo-ples God gave vic-to-ry,
God made us o'er the na-tions rule,
God chose our her-i-tage for us,
The pride of Ja-cob whom God loves.
2. God has gone up to take the throne
With shouts of joy and trum-pet call.
Sing praise to God, who is our king.
Sing praise to earth's king with a psalm.
God rules the na-tions from his throne.
As God's own folk the rul-ers come.
The shields of earth be-long to God;
God rules su-preme o'er all the earth.
