1. O clap your hands, you peoples all!
With joyful songs shout to our God!
The mighty God is to be feared,
A sovereign great o'er all the earth.
O'er peoples God gave victory,
God made us o'er the nations rule,
God chose our heritage for us,
The pride of Jacob whom God loves.
2. God has gone up to take the throne
With shouts of joy and trumpet call.
Sing praise to God, who is our king.
Sing praise to earth's king with a psalm.
God rules the nations from his throne.
As God's own folk the rulers come.
The shields of earth belong to God;
God rules supreme o'er all the earth.
