PSALM 43
METER:  LMD (88 88 D)
SUGGESTED TUNE:  HE LEADETH ME

1.  Lord, be my judge, defend my cause
    Against those who are without God;
    Save me from those who falsehoods tell
    And those who do not do what's just.
    You are my God, my refuge true;
    So why must I rejected be?
    Why do I have to go and mourn
    Because I am oppressed by foes?
2.  Send out your light, send out your truth,
    Oh, let them always lead me on,
    That I may come unto your house
    And to the mountain where you dwell.
    Then to God's altar I will go,
    To God who gives exceeding joy;
    And I will praise you with the lyre,
    O God, my God, I will praise you.
3.  Oh, why, my soul, are you cast down?
    Oh, why are you disquieted?
    I shall again praise God my help,
    And I shall place my hope in him.
    Oh, why, my soul, are you cast down?
    Oh, why are you disquieted?
    I shall again praise God my help,
    And I shall place my hope in him.
