1. I will bless God at all times;
Praise shall e'er be in my mouth.
In the Lord my soul does boast;
Let th' afflicted hear with joy.
Magnify the Lord with me,
All together praise God's name!
2. I sought God, who answered me
And saved me from all my fears.
Look to him, be radiant;
So you'll never be ashamed.
When I cried, the Lord heard me,
From my troubles God saved me.
3. 'Round all those who fear the Lord
Camps God's angel, saving them.
Taste and see that God is good!
Happy those who trust in him.
Many are the righteous' woes,
But God rescues from them all.
4. God will even keep their bones,
Not a one will he let break.
Wicked ones shall surely die,
Those who hate the just are judged.
God redeems his servants' lives;
None are lost whom he defends.
