1. God watches o'er the just,
He listens to their cries.
God turns against those who do wrong,
Forgotten they shall die.
2. God hears when just ones call;
He rescues them from woe.
To brokenhearted ones he's near;
He saves those with no hope.
3. Troubles the righteous have,
But God saves from them all.
God keeps them fully in his care,
Wtihout a broken bone.
4. Evil befalls the cruel;
Those who hate just ones shall
Condemned be. But God saves his own,
Who safety find in him.
