This is the meter of the hymn "Be Still, My Soul"
1. Protect me, God; I trust in you for safety.
I say, "You are my God; all good's from you."
How noble are the saints, God's faithful people.
My greatest pleasure is to be with them.
Those who choose other gods know only trouble.
I will not worship them or speak their names.
2. God gives me food, he e'er is my provider;
He gives fine things to me that give me joy.
I bless the Lord who ever does instruct me,
And in the night gives guidance in my heart.
I keep the presence of the Lord before me;
I am not shaken, for he's always near.
3. Therefore my heart is glad, my soul rejoices.
My body also always is secure.
You do not give me up to lands of shadow,
Nor leave your faithful in the land of death.
The path of life you show to me; your presence
Gives joy and pleasure for eternity.
