1. The Lord is kind and merciful,
Gracious and slow to wrath.
The Lord is good to all, and he
Has mercy on his works.
2. All of your works shall praise you, Lord,
Your faithful bless your name.
They speak your royal majesty,
And of your holy might.
3. They tell all people of your might,
The glory of your reign.
You reign, O Lord, forevermore,
Forever without end.
4. The Lord is faithful in his words,
And gracious in his deeds.
The Lord upholds all those who fall,
And raises those bowed down.
