1. The Lord is kind and mer-ci-ful,
Gra-cious and slow to wrath.
The Lord is good to all, and he
Has mer-cy on his works.
2. All of your works shall praise you, Lord,
Your faith-ful bless your name.
They speak your roy-al maj-es-ty,
And of your ho-ly might.
3. They tell all peo-ple of your might,
The glo-ry of your reign.
You reign, O Lord, for-ev-er-more,
For-ev-er with-out end.
4. The Lord is faith-ful in his words,
And gra-cious in his deeds.
The Lord up-holds all those who fall,
And rais-es those bowed down.
