1. How can the young keep their ways pure?
When they guard them all through your word.
I seek you with my whole heart, Lord;
Don't let me stray from what you teach.
I've laid your word up in my heart,
That I might not a-gainst you sin.
Bless-ed are you, O Lord my God;
Teach me your stat-utes and your ways.
2. With my own lips I do de-clare
All of the things that you com-mand.
All of your laws are my de-light
As much as in the whole world's wealth.
On your pre-cepts I'll med-i-tate,
And fix my eyes up-on your ways.
I will de-light in all your laws;
I nev-er will for-get your word.
