1. Teach me the way of your laws, Lord;
I'll keep them to the end.
Give in-sight to me, that I may
Whole-heart-ed-ly o-bey.
Lead me in your com-mand-ments' path,
For in them I de-light.
In-cline my heart un-to your word,
And not to my own gain.
2. Let me not look at van-i-ties;
Give me life in your ways.
Con-firm to me your prom-ise sure,
For all those who fear you.
Turn back the re-proach which I dread;
Your ord-'nanc-es are good.
Lo, for your pre-cepts do I long;
In just-ice give me life.
