1. Your word's a lamp un-to my feet,
And light un-to my path.
I've made a sol-emn prom-ise that
I'll keep your right-eous ways.
2. I am af-flict-ed, Lord, save me
Ac-cord-ing to your word.
Ac-cept my of-fer-ings of praise
And teach me all your ways.
3. My life is ever per-il-ous,
But I up-hold your laws;
The wick-ed set a trap for me,
Yet I won't stray from them.
4. Your teach-ings are for-ev-er mine,
They give my heart great joy.
I am re-solved to keep your laws
Un-til the day I die.
