PSALM 106:1-6, 19-23
METER:  88 88 88
SUGGESTED TUNE:  ST. CATHERINE
This is the meter for such hymns as "Faith of Our Fathers."

1.  Praise the Lord!  Thank him, for he's good;
    His steadfast love always endures.
    Who can speak of his mighty deeds,
    Who can declare his praise in full?
    Happy are those who justice do,
    Who at all times do righteousness.
2.  Remember me when you send help,
    When to your people you send aid;
    That I may see your people thrive,
    That I may share your nation's joy,
    That I may glory in your own.
    We and our forebears all have sinned.
3.  At Sinai's mount they made a calf,
    An idol that they called their god.
    The true God's glory they exchanged
    For a grass-eating ox's form.
    Their God, their Savior, they forgot,
    Who wonders had in Egypt done.
4.  God did great things in Egypt's land,
    Wonders he did at the Red Sea.
    So God said he would them destroy
    Had not his servant, Moses, stood
    Between God and his chosen ones
    To turn back his destructive wrath.
