This is the same meter as such hymns as "O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing" and "O God, Our Help in Ages Past"

1.  You'll say that Day, "I thank you, Lord,
    Though I had an-gered you,
    Your an-ger turned a-way from me,
    And com-fort you gave me.
2.  God is my Sav-ior; him I'll trust
    And nev-er be a-fraid.
    The Lord God is my strength and song,
    My Sav-ior he's be-come.
3.  With joy from sav-ing wells you'll draw,
    And in that day you'll say:
    "Give thanks to God, call on his name;
    Tell his deeds to the world.
4.  Tell ev-ery-one how great he is.
    Sing prais-es un-to him
    For all the great things he has done;
    Tell it to all the world.
5.  Let all in-hab-it-ants of Zi'n
    Sing and cry out for joy!
    For God a-mong his peo-ple dwells,
    And he is great in-deed."
